    Gorgeous dogs. (๏ฝกโ—•โ€ฟโ—•๏ฝก)

  2. Enjoyed these – especially the one about dogs ruining carpets versus children ruining lives. Thanks for making me laugh:)

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog! Love these photos and quotes. Here’s another one you might like. It’s the epitaph for Queen Victoria’s beloved King Charles spaniel, Dash.

“Here lies Dash, the favorite spaniel of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, by whose command this memorial was erected. He died on the 20th December 1840 in his ninth year. His attachment was without selfishness, his playfulness without malice, his fidelity without deceit. Reader, if you would live beloved and die regretted, profit by the example.”

    • So good to get your note and and your nice comment. The dog quote is a good one. I will be posting dog quotes and or adages at irregular intervals. Do you mind if I use this one that you just sent to me? I feel quite honored that you paid a visit to my blog. I looked around yours and I think it is excellent. It’s odd how I find blogs that I like. I saw your blog name on Magsx2, I think, that’s the place. When I saw Texas, I had to check it out. I found you are a perfect fit to my ideas about GOP politicians, etc. And, I think that I read you also like cats. So when ever you post you’ll get a comment from me.

      • Feel free to use that quote. You are very welcome to it. On another note, if you enjoy Margaret and Helen’s blog, you’ll probably like Juanita Jean’s too. She’s in Texas and is involved in Texas politics. Just go to http://juanitajean.com.

Yes, I love cats, dogs and all kinds of critters. Even some people. ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Thanks for the reply and that you don’t mind use of the queens’ quote about her King Charles Spaniel, Dash. Looks as if I need to read more quotes. I thought that I had read many that I found on “Sir Google.” ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll click on Juanitia Jean’s site in a bit and subscribe to her also. So glad that you like animals. I like some poeple as well. Too bad that most of them can’t measure up to the standard of most dogs. ๐Ÿ™‚

Great post Yvonne, I love Lady as she has the same name as my Berger de savoie dog who died end 2011. The others are beautiful too. Also like quotes!

    • Thank you so much again for liking this post. I had no idea that most poeple would like this kind of information. Lady is officially my son’s dog. He took her everyday with him on just about every job (he has own ornamental iron business). But I had to convince him that she was too old to ride around in the crate that you can see that is behind her in the picture). He rarely left her at home. My son does archery as a hobby and she went to many parts of Texas with him to his bow tournaments.

I will have to look up the kind of dog that was your pet named Lady. I am not familiar with that breed. You will always remember your dog even though she is gone now. I often think of my past pets- especially the dogs.

At last I’ve been able to get onto your site…not sure what the gremlins were up to but I’ve had problems. LOVE your photos and LOVE your quotes – what a wonderfully mad doggie lady you are. We all LOVE YOU! xxx

    • It is good to get your note. THis site is really messed up at times. I can not figure out why it is behaving so crazy. It would not let me sign on to my own blog giving me this message, “you are not the owner of this site.” There are several other things that are not right, but the viewer can not see what is wrong. I don;t have a spell check bar, can’t get the type in color anymore (that might be a good thin- not sure if the colored type was in good taste and might have been offensive to the eye) so I’ll probably keep the back type even if I can get this mess fixed. I need to see a web guru but can not put out the $$ righ now. Have property taxes due this month, etc. etc.

Thank you for liking the dog photos. Yes, I am overboard where my pets are concerned. I have no defense on my behalf for that (dog and cat madness).

      Love you also,
      Yvonne

Your Dog Quotes #1 gives a “page does not exist” mssg …. I dropped into your January archives listings to find this post…

  10. Sybil says:

Your pet companions are lucky they found you. Love the descriptions and quotes. I’m thinking how I’d describe Trey: “joyful, idiot dog would run across broken glass to get his ball — TWICE ! “

  11. Just Rod says:

Lovely dogs, lovely pictures and captions and I really enjoyed the quotes. Puppy Smart sounds a challenge.

  12. love the quotes–my husband loves all animals

    • Thanks for taking a look and reading my post. Life is good when the man of the house likes animals. I read the post about him going out to get Kitty Bob her regular cat food after you decided catsup might work on her dry food, I think it was? That was too funny. I still think about the cat being in bliss after she turned her nose up to her regular food. Cats, have millions more olfactory receptors than we mere humans. I suppose that is why they are so picky about their food at times.

      • yes, that was my husband–he will do anything for the cat. I find my cat likes and dislikes the strangest things–things you would think he would be picky about he isn’t and vice versa.

        • Thanks for commenting Lou Ann. My cats ae peculiar in that way as well. Sometimes I buy really cheap food and they gobble it up. Most times they eat Purina one (dry). Maybe thye just get tired of eating the same thing day in and day out

        • my cat will not eat just dry food–but I think we trained him that way

        • Lots of people that only have one or two cats started out on canned food and that is why they can harely switch them over to dry. My cats don’t have that luxury. Only the ones that are old and need special pampering get to eat the canned food.

  13. Some nice quotes there, and I love the pictures and descriptions of your furry family members!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Beautiful quotes!!!
