2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,700 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 5 years to get that many views.

  1. I’ve been to Mt. Everest with you! So much fun!

That’s very good, Yvonne! I had one of these and they said I had posted ONE new post, which is ridiculous as I’ve published 73 since I started the blog in July!! So mine’s not getting posted on my blog… !

You know I wish you a happy new year – I hope you have a good one, and a healthy depression-free one, too. Hugs.

    • What the assine scamps, did that to you? That is so dumbrickulus of them to cheat you like that! You had written to me that WordPress has glitches and I think that the company has more than glitches- it has serious problems. I know as well as you that you posted more than one and I only found you maybe 2 months ago. Don’t remember per sackly. That many posts (73) in an incredible number. I have tried to fix the time per Linda of shoreacres and I was able to only change it a bit but I see in your reply that is now says 2:09amo1. I tell you it is making me el nutso.

And if I have or have not already wished you a Happy New Year well here is a wish for you to be stronger and healthier, wealthier, and wise-er!!!!!

  3. Congratulations!!! My best wishes for this year!!! Happy New Year!!!

    • Rexlin, thank you for the wishes for a Happy New Year. I wish the very same good things for your 2013. And thank you for being a loyal supporter. I appreciate each and everyone of your likes and/or comments.

You done good, Yvonne! Keep up the good blogging during 2013!

    • I done what I done set out to do and a bit more. That was to get at least (50) comments each month. I began very late September and it did not pick up speed until about mid November or so. I am more than happy with how I done (did) but I am not trying for any awards or other things that a younger person would want. The blog, I think, heps(helps) to exercise these old brain cells and that is what is important to me.

Now, secretely I woulda like-ta been on equal footing with you. (I am joking here) However, you are in a different league and I am happy that I know you via our blogs. I have lots of fun bantering with you sometimes and I admire your humor and your writing ability.

WordPress treats you guys better and offers a better platform than Blogger. You made the right choice. Sigh …

    • Sybil, here I was thinking that Blogger, Blogher, and Google + are better. Wodpress has its glitches for sure but you have to watch for the glitches and work around the glitches. I don’t like the way WP has messed with uploading photos and WP also took away some things that previously were available. It all boils down to which one has the most advantages, I suppose. Maybe you might want to change over. It is free or almost except for few measly dollars but I paid for my own domain which I have not tried to do yet. I am afraid that I will make a mess of it so I am going to spend a few dollars and have a web guy or woman do some fine tuning for me. I like the colors that you have on your site and the way your photos look.

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look. I appreciate you very much.

Hello Yvonne, I received it also and I found it was a nice idea.
All my best wishes for this New Year for you and I wish all pets in the world be happy.

    that’s pretty cool. 🙂

    • Thank you Theresa. The numbers are fair which is 3 months worth of actual posts. I’ll never get to your numbers. **smile** I don’t know if you looked at the the top commenters or not but you are included in my report. I very much appreciate your support and I try to use you as a standard but, I can only expect to reach a fraction of your numbers. The report does not show you as a follower because you are not on WordPress. I wish that it would show other blogging sites.

I enjoy reading and replying to comments
